TERMS OF SERVICE Joseph BERTRAND-AZZARI Last updated: January 07, 2026 These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between Joseph BERTRAND-AZZARI (“we,” “us,” “our”) and the student or purchaser (“you,” “your”). By purchasing, booking, or attending any class, session, workshop, or program, you agree to these Terms in full. 1. Services Provided Joseph BERTRAND-AZZARI provides art education services, including but not limited to: Portfolio preparation for college or university applications Storyboarding and layout instruction Artistic mentorship and feedback Group classes, workshops, and private instruction All services are educational and instructional only. 2. No Guarantee of Admission or Outcomes Participation in our services does not guarantee: Acceptance into any college, university, or academic institution Scholarships, financial aid, or employment Portfolio approval or academic success Admissions decisions are made solely by third-party institutions and are outside our control. 3. Payments & Authorization All prices are listed at the time of purchase and are payable in full. Payments are processed securely through Stripe or other authorized payment processors. By submitting payment, you authorize Joseph BERTRAND-AZZARI to charge your selected payment method. 4. No Refund Policy (Canadian-Compliant) To the maximum extent permitted under applicable Canadian consumer protection laws: All sales are final. No refunds will be issued for: Missed classes or sessions Failure to attend scheduled instruction Scheduling conflicts or personal circumstances Dissatisfaction with results or outcomes Withdrawal after purchase Digital services once instruction has begun or access has been provided Educational and digital services are non-refundable once delivery begins, which is permitted under Canadian consumer law when clearly disclosed prior to purchase. 5. Missed Classes & Student Responsibility Students are responsible for attending all scheduled sessions. Missed classes are not refundable and not credited. Late arrival, absence, or technical difficulties on the student’s side do not entitle the student to a refund or reschedule. 6. Cancellations by Us If a class or session is canceled by Joseph BERTRAND-AZZARI, it will be rescheduled or made up. Make-up sessions are provided at our discretion. Students are responsible for attending the rescheduled session. No refunds will be provided if the student cannot attend the make-up session. 7. Digital Services & Chargebacks Once instruction begins or digital access is provided, the service is considered delivered. By purchasing, you acknowledge that: Digital educational services are non-refundable Filing a chargeback contrary to these Terms may result in termination of services and loss of future access 8. Intellectual Property All instructional materials, demonstrations, lesson plans, examples, and teaching content are the exclusive intellectual property of Joseph BERTRAND-AZZARI. Students may not record, reproduce, distribute, sell, or share materials without prior written consent. Artwork created by students during instruction remains the student’s property. 9. Conduct & Termination We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services without refund if a student: Is disruptive, abusive, or disrespectful Harasses instructors or other students Misuses instructional content Violates platform rules or applicable laws 10. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law: We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the service We are not responsible for institutional decisions, portfolio evaluations, or third-party outcomes 11. Governing Law (Canada) These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
